Jose Linares and Alfredo Linares Killed in Accident

Jose Linares 78, and Alfredo Linares ,76, were identified as the two pedestrians struck and killed in accident on South Robertson Boulevard Wednesday morning near the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.

The crash occurred about 5:50 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Robertson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Paramedics responded and located the two elderly men suffering from fatal injuries

Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and is cooperating with authorities.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the two men, but it’s unknown if they are related.

Investigators are working on the cause of the fatal pedestrian accident on Robertson Boulevard.
