2 Hurt Following Accident on Angeles Forest Highway
The cause of a head-on collision that occurred in Tujunga Tuesday morning remains under investigation.
According to CHP, the wreck occurred just before 5:30 a.m. on Angeles Forest Highway.
Reports included that a Honda and Nissan Sentra collided under unclear circumstances.
Two people sustained major injuries and were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
Both lanes of the highway were blocked off for a period of time as first responders arrived at the scene.

Head-on collisions are without a doubt the most dangerous types of crashes. They may only account for 2% of accidents, however they make up 10% of all deadly crashes.
