Tristin Bourgeois Dies After Pickup and Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 74 near Vista Point
Tristin Bourgeois died after his pickup and big rig crashed on Highway 74 near Vista Point.
According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, 27-year-old Tristin Samuel Bourgeois passed away in the two-vehicle collision. For an unknown reason, a big rig was heading downbound on Highway 74 when it lost control, overturned and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado moving in the opposite direction.
The Chevrolet Silverado driver passed away at the scene. The Riverside County Coroner later identified the 27-year-old as Bourgeois.
Due to the crash, California Highway Patrol officers closed and then reopened the highway by 1:40 p.m. after the investigation. However, they did not elaborate on the leading cause of the crash. If anyone has more information on this incident, contact local authorities.
