Two people were injured and one killed in a deadly motorcycle collision

The crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. on August 26th at 90th Street West and Avenue F-4. 

Tony Leon Jr., 31, was the motorcyclist who collided with another vehicle which caused his death. 

Leon was heading southbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle on the left-side. Instead, he collided with a 2020 Chevrolet on the right side. 

A 55-year-old woman and 61-year-old man were two passengers in the Chevrolet that were transported to the hospital. They also sustained minor injuries. 

Tony Leon Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. 

CHP is actively investigating to determine what factors led to the crash.
