Deadly Head-On Collision in Temecula 

Mary Mercado, 22, died on Monday morning in Temecula as the result of a head-on collision. 

The incident took place on November 15th on Rancho California Road at Via Vueltas. 

According to reports, Mercado was driving a Ford Escape when she collided head-on with a red sedan around 11:30 a.m. 

It is unclear, however, what caused the collision. 

Mercado was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. 

Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
