Motorcyclist Hit & Killed in Poway, California
59-year-old Steven Lee McHenry was killed while riding a motorcycle in Poway late Friday night.
The crash was the result of an impaired driver and took place around 10:30 p.m. on March 25th.
McHenry was parked in the bicycle lane on Midland Road when a 22-year-old woman rear-ended his bike.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected and sustained major injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Astha Rajyaguru, was arrested and booked on charges including DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
An active investigation is underway.
