Motorcycle, Cars in Fatal Crash on PCH at Kanan Dume Road

One person died in a multi-vehicle car accident in Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway and Kanan Dume Road.

The Malibu crash occurred on Monday, Nov. 14th on PCH between a motorcyclist, a pickup truck and a third vehicle, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

A news report showed a motorcycle was stopped at the intersection when stolen 2017 Lexus NX SUV and pickup truck collided. The pickup spun out and crashed into the stopped motorcycle. The incident was caught on the rider’s mounted camera. Meanwhile, the SUV went up in flames — killing its driver.

Investigators are working on the case to determine what led up to the crash and liability.

Stephen Levey, the motorcycle rider, suffered major injuries in the crash. He has a GoFundMe page to raise money for his medical expenses and care.

Authorities closed down all traffic lanes on PCH are closed at Kanan Dume Road.

There are no further details at this time.
