Stephen Johnson Arrested Following DUI Crash

Stephen Johnson was arrested on Tuesday after a DUI crash that happened on Neuralia Road. According to reports, the collision happened around 9:00 a.m. in California City on June 1.

The 27-year-old DUI suspect was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on Neuralia Road. Shortly after, the driver collided with a patrol car that was taking a person to the Kern County Jail. The officer driving the vehicle, as well as the suspect inside, both sustained injuries.

When paramedics arrived, they rendered aid to both victims and transported each to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The California Highway Patrol determined the motorist was indeed under the influence at the time of the accident. Stephen Johnson was arrested and taken to Kern County Jail.
