Skateboarder Mission Valley Crash

The 33-year-old skateboarder who was involved in Sunday night’s traffic accident is facing critical injuries in Mission Valley. Authorities are investigating the accident, which occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 1900 block of Hotel Circle North.

According to police, a 19-year-old in a 2015 Dodge Dart was heading westbound on Hotel Circle North when he struck the skateboarder with his car. The skateboarder was taken to the hospital with major injuries, including an open fracture to his right leg. The crash is still under investigation.
