Six Vehicle Collision in Rancho Cordova

On the evening of December 20, 2022, three separate collisions occurred along the same Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova, CA. Shortly before 10 PM, six vehicles were involved in three separate accidents along Highway 50 near Mather Field Road.

While the incidents leading up to the collisions are currently unknown, authorities have reported that two individuals suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. A third individual also suffered minor injuries and was treated and later released from the scene. Lanes opened up again at approximately 11:20 PM. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
