Central Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident Involving School Bus

A fatal pedestrian accident involving a school bus took place on Thursday, November 4th in Central Las Vegas. 

The incident happened in the afternoon at about 3:40 p.m. near Desert Inn Road and Decatur Boulevard. 

Police reported that an unidentified female pedestrian in her 40s or 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Reports stated that the bus was in the process of making a turn when it hit the woman. 

The bus driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative. 

Authorities are also working to obtain video footage from the school district. 

There were children in the bus at the time, around elementary school age and all were unharmed. 

The crash remains under investigation.
