Traffic Accident at Lavell and Mark West Springs Roads
An accident involving a school bus left two people injured in Santa Rosa Tuesday afternoon.
Reports included that the crash occurred at 3:39 p.m. at Lavell Mark West Springs Roads.
According to authorities, the school bus was carrying nine students traveling eastbound when the driver made a left turn onto Lavell Road.
At the same time, a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck struck the bus.
The students were left unharmed; however, the bus driver suffered minor injuries. They were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
In addition, the driver of the pickup complained of soreness but did not go to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.

- Call 911 if there are any injuries
- Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
- Exchange information with others involved and document everything
- Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
