Deadly Rear-End Collision on Harry Bridges Boulevard 

On Christmas Eve, 44-year-old Saul Zuniga died as the result of a rear-end collision in Wilmington.

Reports stated that the crash took place at 7:20 p.m. on Friday in the 1100 block of West Harry Bridges Boulevard. 

According to the LAPD, the driver of a pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to rear-ending Zuniga’s vehicle. 

The crash occurred within the westbound lanes of the street. 

Zuniga sustained major injuries and sadly died at the scene of the crash. 

The pickup driver also suffered minor injuries and was arrested on unknown charges. 

The crash remains under investigation.
