Woman ID’d in Fatal Crash on Orange Avenue 

The woman who was killed in a DUI crash on July 29th has been ID’d as Sarai Olvera, 26, of Anaheim. 

Reports included that the accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. within the 1100 block of Orange Avenue. 

Olvera was a rear passenger in the vehicle that lost control and struck a light pole. 

Sadly, the woman died at the scene. 

It was discovered that the driver, Erwin Ramos-Mejia, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. 

He was arrested on gross vehicular manslaughter charges and driving under the influence invoking bodily injury. 

The crash remains under investigation.
