Car Accident on Highway 85 near Blossom Hill Road in San Jose

At least one person was injured in a car crash that happened in San Jose on Monday evening.

The accident was reported at around 5:34 p.m. on Highway 85 near Blossom Hill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars at the accident scene. The report, however, did not state how the accident happened.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
