Woman Killed on N. Sanderson Avenue
A 33-year-old woman named Ashley Jachelski was killed early Saturday morning in an accident.
The traffic collision took place on February 19th just before 3 in the morning.
According to reports, the crash occurred on N. Sanderson Avenue north of W. Ramona Expressway.
The accident was caused when an SUV crossed into the path of another SUV, causing a head-on collision.
Sadly, Jachelski died at the scene despite life-saving measures. She was one of the involved drivers in the wreck.
The other driver suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police shut down N. Sanderson Avenue for a period of time following the accident.
Investigators are still working to determine liability.
