3 Seriously Injured in San Francisco Crash Near San Bruno and Mansell
Several were seriously injured after a crash near San Bruno Avenue and Mansell Street in San Francisco.
The accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:25 p.m.
San Francisco police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed near the intersection of San Bruno Avenue and Mansell Street.
Officials described the cars as a Toyota Prius and a Tesla. One of them slammed into a pole and the other then plowed into a residential building in the area.
Firefighters soon arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt. The patients, two from the Tesla and one from the Toyota, sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics then rushed the patients to hospitals for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
The accident caused structural damage to the building and displacement of fourteen individuals. Meanwhile, officers forced the corner of San Bruno and Mansell to shut down following the wreck.
