Woman ID’d in Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision in San Diego 

39-year-old Andrea Zerlina Salinas was the woman who was killed in a traffic accident on Monday in San Diego. 

It was around 8:30 in the morning when the crash occurred near Regents Road. 

Salinas was the driver of a Hyundai Elantra when she was struck by a Toyota Camry. 

A 45-year-old man was driving the Camry when he lost control, causing the collision. 

Sadly, Salinas was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The male driver was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment of unspecified injuries. 

An active investigation remains underway.
