Sacramento Pedestrian Accident Fruitridge Road and Stockton Boulevard

A car accident left a pedestrian seriously injured near Fruitridge Road and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.

The California Highway Patrol group logged that accident at around 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports, a gray Nissan sedan struck a pedestrian for unknown reasons in Sacramento.

Emergency crew arrived at the scene and found the victim lying injured on the ground. The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the pedestrian. Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
