Fatal Accident Reported on I-5 in Sacramento 

A construction worker was fatally struck by a vehicle in Sacramento on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on September 7th on Interstate 5. 

Roseann Mary Guzman, 34, was setting up cones on the Sutterville Highway exit ramp when a Toyota minivan swerved across traffic lanes and collided with the work truck and her.

Sadly, Guzman, of Wheatland, died at the scene.

There was also another worker, a 54-year-old man, that suffered major injuries. 

No injuries were reported from the minivan driver. 

An active investigation remains underway.
