51-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle 

A deadly pedestrian crash occurred in Long Beach on Thursday, September 1st. 

Rudy Diaz, 51, was struck outside of a crosswalk within the 3300 block of South Street.

The incident took place around 12:40 in the morning and involved a Honda. 

The driver, a Lakewood resident, stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
