Rollover Crash in Claremont

A vehicle rolled over from the result of a two-vehicle collision

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, October 19th on Foothill (210) Freeway just west of Towne Avenue.

According to CHP, a Ford F-350 collided with a Nissan Frontier in the westbound lanes at about 6:26 a.m.

Due to the impact, the Nissan overturned and landed back on its wheels.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded but it is uncertain at this time how many were injured from the crash.

Tow trucks were also needed to remove both trucks from the roadway which both sustained damage.

Investigators are actively working to determine liability.

Statistics show that rollover accidents account for about one-third of all fatalities in the U.S. In  addition, 30% of vehicle fatalities are rollover crashes. These types of accidents are far more likely to result in a fatality than non-rollover crashes.
