Rollover Crash Claims The Life of Precious Davis

Authorities have ID’d 26-year-old Precious Davis as the victim of a fatal rollover crash on Sunday morning. 

The accident took place on September 19th around 7:05 a.m. on the Santa Monica Freeway. 

According to reports, Davis was driving eastbound on the 10 Freeway when her vehicle overturned for undetermined reasons. 

The vehicle overturned near the Crenshaw Boulevard off ramp and it is unclear whether or not anybody else was involved. 

The California Highway Patrol is working to determine what may have factored into the crash.

Statistics show that rollover accidents account for about one-third of all fatalities in the U.S. In  addition, 30% of vehicle fatalities are rollover crashes. These types of accidents are far more likely to result in a fatality than non-rollover crashes.
