Roger Calahan Fatal Pedestrian Accident El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego

Roger Calahan, 42, of San Diego, died May 29th just over a week after a pedestrian accident on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego.

The collision occurred at an unknown time on May 20th, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.

The homeless man was reportedly hit by a vehicle traveling on El Cajon Boulevard.

A witness called 911 for police and paramedics to respond to the scene. An ambulance transported Roger Calahan to Scripps Mercy Hospital. Doctors conducted surgery on the victim and he remained hospitalized until his death at 7:22 p.m. on May 29th.

It’s unknown if the motorist involved stopped after the collision. The case remains under investigation.
