37-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident
The man who fell victim to a hit-and-run crash in Oroville last Tuesday has been ID’d as Robert Danforth, 37.
The tragic accident occurred on July 5th around 4 a.m. at the Garden Drive off-ramp.
A driver in either an SUV or pickup truck struck the man at the off-ramp leading from Highway 70.
Investigators are still working to determine what may have led up to the accident.
The driver reportedly fled the scene, in either a Ford Excursion SUV or Ford Super Duty pickup truck.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
