69-year-old Robert Badal died in a collision on Sunday morning
On August 22nd in Sacramento County Badal was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck on Dillard Road at about 11:40 a.m.
The pickup truck was occupied by an unidentified 34-year-old man.
According to reports, Badal was straddling the centerline when the pickup truck made a U-turn in front of the oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcycle crashed into the left-hand side of the vehicle, leaving Badal with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s office ID’d the victim shortly after, his full name is Robert Edward Badal.
The driver of the pickup truck has been fully cooperative with authorities during their ongoing investigation to determine liability.
