One Killed, Two Others Hurt in Goldenwest Street Crash
A longtime crossing guard for the city of Westminster was killed in a traffic collision Tuesday morning.
Robert Polino Avila, 77, was driving his vehicle when it collided with another for unknown reasons on June 7th.
The crash took place at 5:35 a.m. within the 14500 block of Goldenwest Street.
Sadly, Avila died at the scene.
Additionally, a passenger in Avila’s car and the other driver were taken to UC Irvine Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.
