Highway 91 Accident Results in Person Ejected 

A pickup truck and big rig collided in Riverside on Wednesday evening, resulting in serious injuries.

The accident took place at 6:37 p.m. within the eastbound lanes of Highway 91 on May 4th.

Per CHP, a pickup truck was speeding before colliding with the big rig and overturning. 

As a result, a man inside of the pickup was ejected, causing severe injuries to the head. 

It is unclear whether or not anybody else suffered any injuries. 

Authorities shut down the eastbound lanes for a period of time following the wreck.

The crash remains under investigation.
