22-Year-Old Man Dies on Highway 138 

On Friday morning, January 7th, 22-year-old Ritchie Serrano died in a Hesperia traffic accident. 

The fatal crash took place around 8:45 a.m. on State Route 138, near Summit Post Office Road. 

According to CHP, a 4-door Honda and Toyota collided under unclear circumstances. 

Sadly, Serrano was pronounced dead at 9:11 a.m., per the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. 

It is unclear at this time if there were other injuries reported. 

Tow trucks were also needed to remove the damaged vehicles from the crash site. 

An active investigation is underway.
