Fatal Fontana Pedestrian Accident Kills Man
29-year-old Ricardo Canela Jr. was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fontana Friday night on March 11th.
The fatal accident occurred at 11:35 p.m. within the eastbound lanes of the I-10 Freeway.
Per CHP, a vehicle struck the man just east of Sierra Avenue under unclear circumstances.
Sadly, Canela Jr. sustained major injuries and died at the scene at 11:50 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
