The Shasta County Coroner’s Office has identified the 61-year-old Redding man who was killed on Wednesday night after his car went off the southbound off-ramp to Knighton Road on Interstate 5.
Later, the vehicle slammed into the rear of a parked big rig.
The coroner’s office said Gary Michael Flint died at the scene of the accident.
