Man Hurt in Fatal Highway 299 Crash
A deadly accident involving a big rig left one dead and another seriously injured on Wednesday morning.
At about 7:41 a.m., a Ford F150, driven by Charles French, was traveling eastbound on Highway 299.
French reportedly crossed the double yellow lines, causing a head-on collision with a semi-truck.
The Ford driver suffered major injuries and his passenger was sadly killed.
In addition, the semi caught fire; however, the driver was left unharmed.
Investigators are actively working to determine what may have factored into the accident.
