Details Leading Up to the Fatal Redlands Train Crash

Upon stopping, a Metrolink train that was travelling at about 50 mph was heading toward the stopped vehicle on the tracks. The train’s engineer attempted to stop although, it was too late. The impact from the two vehicles colliding caused the preteen girl to eject from her seat. When paramedics arrived, they unfortunately declared the young girl deceased. The mother was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of her unknown injuries. After such a traumatic accident, local authorities closed the area. Investigators are currently working to discover the truth behind the accident and why the vehicle stopped along the tracks.

JT Legal Group sends its condolences to the family and loved ones of the young victim.
