Crash in Bloomington Injured Pregnant Woman

A hit-and-run crash left a pregnant woman injured at Cedar Avenue and Valley Boulevard in Bloomington.

The California Highway Patrol group received a call about the accident late Friday night at about 10:45 p.m.

According to authorities, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bloomington. They crashed at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Valley Boulevard.

Emergency crews soon arrived at the scene near Cedar Avenue and Wrangler Drive. They found a pregnant woman who complained of pain as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help the woman and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.

The cause of the Bloomington hit-and-run crash is still being investigated.
