Pileup Leaves 1 Person Dead in Hemet

Multiple vehicles collided on Monday morning, September 20th in Hemet. As a result, several people were injured and one person was killed.

The fatal collision involving a semi-truck was reported around 6:42 a.m. on southbound Warren Road.

According to reports, a semi-truck, a white pickup truck and a black sedan were the three vehicles involved.

Firefighters, paramedics and Hemet Police all responded to the crash which was causing a blockage in the roadway.

In addition, both directions of the roadway were blocked off pending investigation and cleanup.

The name of the deceased has yet to be released pending notification of kin. The other parties involved have also not been made known to the public at this time.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
