Peter Stump Killed in Car Accident in Phoenix
40-year-old Peter Stump from Chandler was identified as a passenger killed in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Phoenix Monday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Warner Road.
Reportedly, DPS were responding to a pedestrian accident that occurred after the victim jumped over the median onto the freeway. As the police were detaining the pedestrian, two vehicles collided in the area for reasons not yet established.
Stump, who was a passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details regarding the mishap were provided.
