Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Cajalco and Decker Road 

A suspected DUI driver was being pursued by police before hitting and killing a pedestrian on Sunday afternoon. 

The incident occurred on March 27th around 3:45 p.m. in the area of Cajalco and Decker Road. 

Juan Diego, 26, was suspected by a K-9 deputy to have been driving while drunk. Diego then struck 25-year-old Miracle Jackson, sadly resulting in death.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Riverside University Health System. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI along with other charges.

An active investigation is underway.
