Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Manchester Square Area
Police are in search of the suspect who was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The pedestrian accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Van Ness Avenue near Inglewood.
Per reports, the vehicle struck an unidentified man in his 70s on January 27th in the Manchester Square Area.
The dark-colored vehicle was traveling eastbound when it turned left onto Van Ness Avenue and struck the victim in the crosswalk.
Unfortunately, the man sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
The city of Los Angeles is offering a $50,000 reward to anyone with information on the involved suspect.

According to statistics, there was a 26% increase in pedestrian deaths in California from 2014-2018.
In addition, California’s pedestrian fatality rate is about 25% higher than the national average.
