Fatal Pedestrian Crash near Citrus Avenue
An unidentified pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Fontana Thursday night.
The incident occurred just after 9:40 p.m. on March 3rd within the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the victim near Citrus Avenue for unknown reasons.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures; however, the person sadly died at the scene.
Investigators are actively working to piece together all the details.

There was a 26% increase in pedestrian deaths in California from 2014-2018.
In addition, California’s pedestrian fatality rate is about 25% higher than the national average.
