Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Solimar Beach 

The woman who died in a pedestrian accident in Ventura has been ID’d as Mary J Centeno, 68, of Ventura. 

The incident took place at about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10th. 

A pickup truck struck Centeno under unclear circumstances. 

Witnesses provided aid to the woman at the scene but she sadly died due to her injuries. 

The involved driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
