Woman Fatally Struck by Pickup Truck in Oxnard
73-year-old Carmen Ramirez has been identified as the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Oxnard on Friday.
The incident occurred in the evening around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Seventh and A Street.
A pickup truck reportedly struck Ramirez on August 12th within the crosswalk, causing life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital where she sadly died.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
