Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported in Los Angeles, CA

Leonard Gonzales Zamora, 70, has been identified as the pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run car accident. The fatal crash happened on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

The homeless man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he pushed a wheelchair on the north 110 Harbor Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver struck the 70-year-old homeless man about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 18th near Adams Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol. Police did not mention why the man was on the freeway.

Additionally, the driver in the vehicle failed to stop after the collision. Furthermore, police did not provide a description of the involved vehicle.
