Angeles Crest Highway Motorcycle Collision Seriously Injures 1 

One person sustained major injuries as the result of a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning. 

The collision occurred on November 11th on Angeles Crest Highway, near mile marker 48.79.

According to CHP, a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the westbound lanes under unclear circumstances. 

Paramedics responded and rushed one of the seriously injured to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. 

The lanes were also shut down for a period of time pending cleanup and investigation. 

Authorities are actively working to determine liability. 

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
