Crash left 2 Men Dead and Two Severely Injured

A car crash in south Oroville left two men dead and two four-year-old children facing “life-changing” injuries. The kids were flown to separate nearby hospitals. According to Oroville CHP officer, Ben Draper, one child was taken to UC Davis Medical Center, while the other was flown to Oroville Hospital.

The wreck happened early Thursday on Lincoln Blvd. at Baggett Marysville Road.

The CHP believes a possible street race between the Jeep Cherokee and a red Chevrolet Camaro may have caused the collision.

After the Jeep crashed into a power pole, the impact ejected both children from the car. The red Camaro allegedly fled the scene.
