Highway 60 Accident Leaves One Seriously Hurt
One person was seriously hurt following a motorcycle accident in Ontario Monday morning.
CHP reports included that a motorcycle collided with another car at 2:47 a.m. for unknown reasons.
The crash took place within the northbound lanes of Highway 60 at Archibald Avenue on June 20th.
A witness called authorities to report the accident.
First responders arrived at the scene and rushed one injured party to Arrowhead Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
Additionally, another motorist also crashed into debris and hit a wall from the first collision.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down for a period of time.
An active investigation remains underway.
According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
