One Person Seriously Injured in Elk Grove Accident
CHP is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person with major injuries in Elk Grove, California.
The crash reportedly took place Saturday morning, August 28th at about 2:35 a.m. on Interstate 5 near Twin Cities Road.
The two vehicles involved were a black Hyundai Elantra and gray Toyota Camry.
While it is currently unknown what caused the crash, both vehicles were heading southbound when they collided.
As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles lost control, causing it to veer off the roadway and roll down the embankment.
An unidentified person suffered a broken pelvis and severe head lacerations. Paramedics provided aid to the individual before rushing them to the nearest hospital.
Once CHP concludes its investigation more information will be provided.
