Fatal Crash Reported on I-5 Freeway in Williams, CA 

Two vehicles collided in Williams, California on Monday, resulting in the death of one person. 

The crash also left several people injured on August 22nd.

It was at about 12:50 a.m. when the vehicles collided within the southbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway.

Several people became trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by paramedics. 

One person was confirmed dead; however, there may have been others that were killed due to the crash. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault for the crash.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
