Highway 101 Accident Results in Death 

Investigators are working to determine fault regarding a fatal rollover accident that occurred Tuesday evening. 

A Toyota Landcruiser collided with another car in Paso Robles under unclear circumstances.

The incident took place on July 5th just minutes after 7 p.m. 

The other vehicle rolled over upon impact, sadly causing one person to die. Their identity is being withheld at this time. 

No injuries were reported from any occupants of the Landcruiser. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

Statistics show that rollover accidents account for about one-third of all fatalities in the U.S. In  addition, 30% of vehicle fatalities are rollover crashes. These types of accidents are far more likely to result in a fatality than non-rollover crashes.

In the U.S. one’s odds of dying in a car accident is around 1 in 107.
