Fiery Collision Leaves One Dead at Willow Springs and Backus Road
Two vehicles collided in Mojave Wednesday night, resulting in the death of one person.
CHP reported that the crash took place at 8:39 p.m. at the intersection of Willow Springs and Backus Roads.
One of the involved vehicles was speeding before slamming into the other car.
Upon impact, one of the vehicles caught fire.
Sadly, one person died in the wreck. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of kin.
An active investigation is underway.
