Fatal Crash on Carpenter Road and Monte Vista Avenue 

Two vehicles collided at a Modesto intersection on Monday night, resulting in the death of one person.

The fatal accident occurred on December 20th around 11:10 p.m.

Per CHP, it is unclear at this time what caused the crash at Carpenter Road and Monte Vista Avenue. 

When emergency personnel responded at the scene, they pronounced one unidentified person dead. 

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
